TRADITION, BOTTLED.
Toorak Estate Wine's history dates back to 1849 when the Toorak House was built in Victoria by a merchant named James Jackson. The house itself is Italianate Victorian architecture and today has inspired the name of the suburb Toorak. Toorak is synonymous with wealth, prestige, and fine quality – its story has inspired a wine label that reflects not only the history but the qualities that make up the well-known district.
Wines under the Toorak Estate Wines label mirror the premium qualities of South Australia’s Limestone Coast, in particular the Coonawarra region that is renowned for producing exceptional wine from hand-pruned vineyards and surrounding fruit-grown estates. The Limestone Coast’s soil formation is derived from a foundation of which 2 million years ago used to be a seabed. Today this presents friable and free-draining terrain – providing excellent growing and maturing conditions for Toorak Estate Wines' Viticulturists.
Toorak Estate Wines is committed to producing and ensuring that the wines produced are of exceptional quality and nothing less than premium produce in every glass.
